Follow Up! πŸ‘‹, Pay Someone Else 🀝, Pricing πŸ’²

πŸ™As always thanks for reading CleanWork Report!

Let’s get right to it!

Finding cleaning opportunities is as simple as just following up.

Proof πŸ‘‡

Lots of cleaning services don’t do this and miss out on so many easy opportunities. They try once to reach the person they need to speak with or get told “No” once and never reach out again. That’s why I made it a point to make this new feature for CleanWork.

Follow Up Flows

CleanWork Follow Up Flows are the definition of “Work smarter, not harder.” Once your Lead List is on autopilot and sending cold emails, you can start running Follow Up Flows.

You pick which email template to use if the lead opens your first cold email and one if they don’t. Then a number of days when to send the follow up email after the first cold email is sent. You can add up to 5 follow up flows and they stop running if the lead responds. Less work and more action!

⚑Tip

Always have the cost of paying an employee factored into your quote. Even if you plan to do it yourself. As your business grows you will have less and less time to dedicate to your clients and your business if you are doing it all yourself. Pricing all of your jobs with this cushion will give you the wiggle room you will need when it comes time to bring on employees. Not doing this will more than likely put you in the negative when hiring employees for your current contracts.

πŸ’¬FAQs

Question:

How do you guys price when it comes to Buffing and Waxing?

Answer:

Visually, by the square foot, and always have a minimum price. Some people only use one some people use two of the three. I personally like to take all three into consideration when giving a quote then turn it into a square footage price if they need it quoted that way.

Visually

Visually because no one job is the same. Even in the same building, no one floor is in the same condition. The previous company could have done the right thing and stripped off all the wax before putting on the proper amount of coats. Or they could have cut corners and just put new coats on top of old ones(more work for you). Always consider the condition of the floor when quoting.

By the square foot

If it’s your standard strip and wax there’s no harm in using your standard price per square foot for that service. Once you figure out the square footage multiply it by the number of cents you want to make per squared foot.

Minimum price

A minimum price is a must. You’re in business to make money and it costs money to make money. Some jobs just won’t make sense if they are small and don’t amount to much at your square foot price.
